Our daughter Sophie joined Gina Jeffreys Academy Of Music (GJAM) when she was seven years old. Five years later she is still enjoying every minute of her singing and song writing and is now also learning guitar and piano.
We have watched Sophie grow in confidence and talent. The skills she has learnt have helped her in all aspects of her school, home and social life. She has made life long friends of all ages including Gina, Rod and their beautiful teachers.

Gina has been inspiring and guiding me as a mentor for 10 years. From my very first lesson as a 17 year old, I knew this all encompassing experience would be like no other. In my weekly sessions, I was not only learning Songwriting & Performance techniques, It was much more than this. Through Gina’s personalised Mentoring I was learning life lessons of resilience, diligence, kindness, connection and belief in myself.
Gina just has a knack in setting artists on their true path through finding their unique qualities and sharing the secrets to having a long lasting career in the Music Industry.
Today, Gina and I are a prolific songwriting team and I am forever grateful for the lessons I learned that lead us to where we are today.

I have been at Gina Jeffrey’s Academy Of Music (GJAM) for 10 years now and have absolutely loved it. I started as a 7 year old with a love of singing and am still at the school now at 18 years of age. Over the years I have been a part of many of the classes Gina has to offer, which include singing, song writing, guitar and most recently mentoring. I have joined in both group and solo classes. Her classes have nurtured my love of music and singing and now resonates as my biggest passion in life.
One thing I especially love about Gina’s classes is the kindness and positivity that we reflect on each week. Gina hasn’t just been an amazing singing teacher but has taught me how to be confident, not just through singing, but in my everyday life and taught me never to focus on negativity, instead always look for the positive side. The overall best thing about GJW is that we aren’t just a singing school, we are one big happy family!!!

My family and I would highly recommend Gina Jeffreys Academy Of Music. Our daughter has been attending for just over a year. In that short time she has grown so much as a singer and has loved the supportive and nurturing atmosphere of the school.
It has also provided her a range of opportunities that she would never have had without attending the school. A highlight for her was singing at Mingara Carols last year.
It has also allowed her to meet and interact with the seniors of the school and this has given her goals to work hard for. All the seniors and staff treat the juniors with care and respect. It is an environment designed to build confidence and help children to thrive.
Gina and her teachers do not tolerate any mean child behaviour. Singing and performing can be such a nerve wracking thing to do and yet her students are all happy to perform because they are encouraged and supported. The end of year concert was so lovely to watch as all the performers had grown so much throughout the year.
Our daughter has said that she loves attending Gina Jeffreys Academy because, "I feel so supported and nurtured. Everyone is so friendly and nice (the teachers and the students). Lessons are so fun. It is one of my favourite times of the week. I love all the teachers and all the students".

Being apart of GJAM has been such an amazing way to connect with other people in the industry who love music as much as I do! It has allowed me to focus my skills on my songwriting and provides the opportunity to co-write with and for other incredible artists. I am extremely grateful to be apart of a team run by Gina that encourages self growth and supporting each others success.
